PATRÍCIA GONÇALVES (1994, Vila Nova de Famalicão)

Graduated in Performing Arts – Acting from ACE Famalicão (2013), and obtained a degree in Theatre from the University of Minho (2016). Since then, work has been developed in the fields of production, acting, assistant directing, and artistic creation.

In the area of production, collaboration with Teatro Experimental do Porto (2018–2025) stands out, with responsibility for production management and executive production of around 40 artistic projects in national and international contexts. Additional collaborations include DEVAGAR (Búfalo Bill, 2021) and BLUFF (Já não sou a amar-te menos, 2022), as well as projects with artists Tânia Dinis — Tão pequeninas tinham o ar de serem já crescidas (winner of Best Portuguese Short Film at IndieLisboa and Best Documentary at MDOC, 2024) — and Jorge Quintela — STOP: Salas de ensaio para um materialismo histórico (2024).

In 2024, participation in the 1st edition of the PLATAFORMA project — an international gathering of artistic residency centers designed to foster exchange between artists and promote good practices across Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Colombia, Bolivia, Mexico, Belgium, Portugal, and Spain. The initiative was co-organized by La Parisina (Argentina), Inestable (Valencia), and Nau Ivanow (Barcelona). International activity has also been reinforced through regular attendance at programmers’ meetings and institutional gatherings promoted by festivals such as Festival Teatro a Mil (Chile), MAPAS – Mercado de Culturas Atlânticas do Sul (Tenerife, 2021), among others.

Alongside theatre and film production, the cast and assistant directing teams of the international projects ESTREITO/ESTRECHO and G.O.L.P. — coproductions between Teatro Experimental do Porto and Teatro La María (Chile) — were also integrated. These projects toured festivals such as Teatro a Mil, Santiago OFF, MIRADA – Ibero-American Festival of Performing Arts, Temporada Alta (Uruguay), FIT de Cádiz (Spain), and Cielos del Infinito (Patagonia, Chile), between 2022 and 2024.

As director and creator, the play Metodologias para um corpo sem norte was staged, a production of Teatro Experimental do Porto premiered at Festival 24 Volts (Porto).
