The Circus and Public Space Intervention Laboratory, led by Eléctrico 28, aims to explore street arts and imaginative
observation of urban environments. Using the city as both a stage and a dramaturgical element, participants will be challenged to interact with public spaces, breaking the boundaries between artist, passerby, and spectator. The laboratory offers site-specific dramaturgy tools and innovative formats that redefine audience relationships and reinvent circus traditions beyond the stage. The identities of the participants and the dynamics of inhabited spaces serve as a starting point for a dialogue between circus, movement, and the surrounding environment, transforming the city into a living, ever-changing stage.
For this edition, four Portuguese circus artists and four Catalan circus artists was selected.
