In a dystopian future, not too far away, in which the world has been divided in two – Left to one side, Right to the other – three female characters from different generations suffer an existential crisis. This crisis forces them to reflect on their conduct, their notions of morality and ethics, and to battle an internal conflict as they are unable to exercise their individual freedom in the face of the moral duty that looms large at the moment of a family and political tragedy. The paradoxical plot split between the desire for freedom and the collective responsibilities serves as a starting point to question current social and political extreme trends and separatist thinking.
