Compagnie H.M.G. | France
In the center of the stage, a plank of wood is bent by a steel wire. It is a human-size arch ; an extension of the body for the game of motion. The object is declined in 3 positions while the stage is surrounded by the
audience on 3 sides. The body can combine with it, wrap around it, or traverse it. Sound rubs, resonates and vibrates against it. With this singular circus structure, the acrobatic performance highlights a ludic connection with matter, space, and the other. At the crossroads of choreographic circus, musique concrete, and wordless theater, 3D is a circus play written for Public Space in an attempt to demonstrate the exhaustive use of an object.
