Arremesso is inspired on the years of practice in solitude and self-learning that Filipe Caldeira did with traditional objects like juggling balls. It is the reflection of a place of practice that is usually hidden, putting it at the present. It recovers the memory of a lonely place and lets you see the man and the matter created that you were never able to see – the crude states of practice by practice. The Training. The failure, the fragile, error- usually places that are far away from the circus. Something about to happen. The beauty and violence live side by side. Deleted moments. Created moments. The cadence. The rhythm: I lower and lift myself countless times. Between heaven and earth. the unknowable and the juggling, a landscapce where the body doesn’t need an identity, not even a face, a fiction in the middle of a storm that is called progress.
