MASACRADE is an aerial tragicomedy that stages the battle between absurdity and logic: how can we find meaning in death in order to make sense of life? Or perhaps, how to find meaning in life by rehearsing death before it reaches us.
In a journey divided into seven moments, the performers face different faces of death – the one that surprises us, the one we fear, the one we would like to choose, the one we face bravely or the one we stumble upon by chance. Guided by a voiceover, they question not only death, but life itself: without it, after all, there would be neither death nor meaning.
